What Is Google AdSense?
Google AdSense is a program run by Google that allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites to serve:
1.      Automatic text
2.      Image
3.      Video
4.      Other Interactive Media Advertisements

These all advertisements (text, image, video and others) are maintained by Google.

Google Adsense is a CPC (cost per click) advertising program that allows publishers to insert a small amount of JavaScript into their sites and have Ads appears that are targeted and relevant to the content of the site.

How Does Ad Rank Impact CPC?
The CPC stands for cost per click, Ads rank play an important role to defining the actual CPC (cost per click) that your opponents pay when someone clicks on their Ads.

Is AdSense free to use?
No, participation in AdSense is free.
Google will pay you for per clicks or impressions on the Google ads you'll display on your site.

What Is Ad Rank?
Ad rank determines your ad position on Google page, and it is determined by your bid for keywords and quality score.

What Is the Maximum Number of AdSense Unit we can put on a Page?
Earlier it was 3 Ads for content units and 3 ads for link units but Google removes AdSense Ad limit policy. Now we can place an unlimited amount of AdSense ads on a page.

How Many AdSense Ads Are Recommended?
We usually enable 3 or 4 ads on our pages. If you have a lot of content and a huge site it could be ok to enable more than 5 ads on your site.

We suggest that you may keep less than 5 Ads per page.

What about Auto-Refreshing Ads?
Publishers are not permitted to refresh a page without the user requesting a refresh.

What Are the Disadvantages of using Google AdSense?
How easy it is to use AdSense?

The main disadvantage of using Google AdSense is “Google pays you a very small percentage of amounts the pay per click revenue and they don't tell us what percentage of the click revenue you received”.
